I am currently working toward my Professional Human Resources Certification.

I want to help give people the option to age or meet their goals at home.
I’m quiet but outrageously adventurous.
I have a Bachelors of the Arts from Lebanon Valley College.
Prior to working with Angels on Call, I was the Hospitality Manager for an event venue in Philadelphia.
I work in home care because I think it is the most amazing thing to have the choice in where and how you want to heal! I want to educate people on their options and make sure they are selecting what will give them the best outcomes.
I am a certified Disney travel planner and have been there more than 40 times! I will always be a kid at heart.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Organizational management, with a minor in psychology and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management Healthcare Administration. I am also human services trained in Dual diagnosis, Safer Options Program in Pennsylvania, Intensive Systems Therapy Model, Positive Approaches, DHS/ODP Certified Investigator.
I have 20 years of experience in Human Services MH/IDD. I began my career in MH/IDD as a direct support professional. I worked in multiple community living arrangements and residential treatment facilities over my career in MH/IDD. I have also held the roles of residential site manager, Day program Manager, Program Specialist, IDD Director, Behavior supports Professional, and ATF Program Coordinator. I believe that services that are delivered in the home allow for more consistency and continuity of care, more personalized care, better development of relationship between care provider and client, and increased client satisfaction with care.
I love to create and craft things. I love creating and crafting one of a kind jewelry pieces.
High School Graduate
I retired after 35 years in state government management. While there, I worked with 6,000+ agents. I worked in Customer Service, providing service to customers, being responsible for all agent contracts and the training and auditing for compliance of contract regulations and laws.
I love being with people and helping people. It’s a way for me to give back to other clients of AOC.
I love going on Wine Tours. I recently bought a slushy machine and enjoy sharing with family and friends. I love all three of my puppies. I love going for long rides in the Jeep with the top down. I love watching Josh accomplish something for the first time or try something new on his own.
I attended Penn State with an undeclared major for almost 2 years, but was minoring in French. I have my Associates degree in Applied Sciences and have my national certification in Medical Assisting. I do Private Duty Nursing on the side, and I did Psychiatric MH/IDD Nursing for 10 years. In that realm, I was trained to do everything a LPN could do years ago. In addition, I have my CNA certification.
I have been in home care for 15 and a half years. Three of those years I did direct caregiving. I have coordinated and scheduled client care simultaneously for 15 years for a home care agency that did over 4500 hours a week.
After all my years of caring for people, the greatest joy is keeping them at home and watching them hold on to their memory and quality of life longer. I’ve cared and coordinated for many people over the years from their first day to their last. That’s rewarding to me and making a difference. There are some clients that I still think about every day and how they taught me to be an even better caregiver and person. We’ve laughed and cried together, and goodbyes have been very hard. I have a few I miss deeply and hold very dear to my heart. They all had stories to tell and share, and I enjoyed hearing them all!
In my spare time, I love to do ghost hunting and paranormal studies. I played trumpet from 3rd grade through college and used to write my own music. Yes, I was a band geek, but I was also a huge athlete. In fact, I played softball and volleyball through college.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Equestrian Management and Equine Facilitated Therapies with a minor in Dance.
I have over 8 years of experience in healthcare, including Billing, Training, Auditing, and Office Management.
I want my job to make a difference in someone’s life.
I love to garden, and I can all my home-grown veggies.
I have an Associates of Science degree in criminology. I’m currently in school and working towards continuing my education now that my kids are older.
I’ve been working in homecare for about 14 years. Prior to that, I was in banking for about 13 years.
I returned to work after having twins and accepted a part-time scheduling position with a home care agency. I was full-time within 2 weeks. Home care was very new at that time and I loved the idea of growing the business and the industry. I was also able to work at home a lot which was very appealing with having three boys.
I am a loud and proud baseball mom.
I am a graduate of West Perry High School. I took several classes at Penn State as well as other classes for work.
I worked 36.5 years at Masland Carpets in Carlisle: 30 of those years in management, and the last 25 as Quality Assurance Manager of the Lewistown Plant and then the Carlisle Plant.
I work in home care because I like helping people.
I was on TV on Club Dance for 14 shows when country line dancing was first starting up.
General Studies Diploma
I worked 10 years as CLA, MHIDD; 5 years as FLP, MHIDD; and 14 years in non-medical in-home care; and 1.5 years with Angels on Call. I live by the 15-Year Plan: work for a company for 14-15 years and give them my best!!
I work in home care because I saw firsthand when I was 13 the benefits of keeping a loved one at home for their last season (my mom).
I can’t spell, but I love to write. I have a pen name BKAY, pronounced “bouquet.”
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
I have worked in geriatric nursing, pediatric home care nursing, and home health nursing.
I work as a home care nurse because everyone should have the opportunity to remain living in their home environment, surrounded by love ones and things near and dear to them. It is very rewarding being able to offer support for those wishing to age in place.
A fun fact about myself is I am a die-hard Steelers Fan and enjoy going to the games with my family.
