One of my caregivers just stopped by to let me know what a great job her trainee has done.  Her trainee for this home has not only done a great job at their care but has helped make their home a home. She has brought in a microwave, coffee pot, love seat, bowls, silverware, a stand for a lamp so they don’t have to sit in the dark (just to name a few things — there’s more). We care for our caregivers, just as our caregivers care for our clients and their families.

Better Scheduling

Our scheduling is centralized to fill shifts more efficiently. This setup gives managers the opportunity to be more engaged with you, visiting your home, checking in with families, and being there for you.

Better Training

We have advanced our training to now require all caregivers be CPR certified and continue their healthcare education through manager visits, shadowing and mandatory in-service. Caregivers receive both in-class and hands-on instruction totaling a minimum of 40 hours before they enter the field.

Better Match

We have increased our screening process to make sure we match each client with the BEST caregiver for their needs.  Caregivers must pass rigorous background checks and training to provide direct care.

Better Selection

For Waiver clients, we also offer the Client Caregiver Selection program. We will train a friend, neighbor or most family members of the client’s choice to be their in-home care provider. These caregivers follow the same extensive hiring procedure and education as all Angel’s teammates, as well as support from all our leadership team.

Better Health

At the beginning of July, we wrapped up a pilot program with Pinnacle. Working together with Home Remedy Skilled Nursing we found that outcomes improved, hospital readmission rates decreased and overall patient satisfaction increased, when they utilized both home health and homecare services. Formal data compilation is going on now so stay tuned for the results!

Better Service

We service Perry, Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin, Mifflin, Juniata, Lebanon, Lancaster, York and Adams counties, with expansion coming soon! Plus, we have a whole new team of recruiters so we can help YOU as soon as possible.

Welcome to Angels on Call.

As a clinical and administrative healthcare professional for over 30 years, I understand the importance of good medical outcomes. Having my ninety-seven-year-old Great Aunt live with my family and I, where caregivers provide daily services, I understand how important it is to have the opportunity to stay home, and be cared for by the best. Because I have a personal stake in homecare, I strive to make Angels On Call the premier provider of homecare services each and every day.

Our leadership team at Angels on Call is committed to making sure our clients are cared for by highly trained caregivers and dedicated professionals, as well as making sure the best possible outcomes are reached. We accomplish this through a rigorous hiring process, comprehensive training, and field support of our caregivers to make sure they provide the service excellence defined in our core values, to both our clients and families.

As a leader with the Angels on Call team I make it my goal to ensure our clients and their families receive the best care, and our caregivers are given the support they need. I think of each of our clients and caregivers as part of my family, just as I ensure the care for my Great Aunt in our home.
